Day 22

I caught my husband cheating!  Yes, you read that right...but not in the way you think.

It has to do with Netflix and Amazon Prime.

There are so many movies and series we are now aware of and want to watch.  The thing is that sometimes I'm not available to sit and watch multiple episodes at a time because I have other things to do....like wash and fold clothes.....cook a meal......mop.....vacuum.  Or I'm tired and go to bed earlier than he does.

Don't get the impression my husband is sitting around doing nothing,  because he has a full time job complaining  to whoever is the latest person to have not fulfilled the other  end of a bargain or contract. But I told you about this yesterday, didn't I?

Anyway, I don't know how to use the remote to access these movie features and my husband does.  So, this puts me at a disadvantage where I need him to set up and run the movie for us.  He has tried to show me, but it just hasn't registered.  Anyway, the deal was that we watch the new shows together. That way we can go through the episodes in sequence.  That makes sense, doesn't it?

There's one particular series we've been wanting to watch that he always seems to have a reason for not watching . So we postpone watching that one and go on to another we both enjoy.  I found this  strange, but.....

Today, I walked unexpectedly into the TV room and he immediately turned off the TV.  Was he watching Porn? What was on the screen he didn't want me to see?

After much questioning it seems he's been watching that series that I also had wanted to watch.  He didn't wait until we could watch it together.  He cheated on the deal.  Many excuses and  apologies later he's been forgiven and all is well.  He promises he won't do it again.

But tonight after I've gone to bed if  he tries to use the remote and cheat again, he's going to find that it doesn't work. 

And why? 

Because I will have replaced the working batteries with 2 dead batteries and hidden them and the  extras we have.  It's going to be a long night for him; he's never going to find those batteries.

And the beauty of it is that he can't tell me the remote didn't work without revealing he attempted to cheat again. 

Never mess with a Sicilian wife.
